ABOUT STFX SMMS

The StFX Sports Management and Marketing Society provides a unique opportunity for the students of the StFX community to share their passion for not only the sports they follow so avidly but also the whole industry and the behind the scenes work that brings the action fans love. Our goal as a society is to find ways to promote sports not only on a local level but on a provincial level. We plan to hold a yearly conference with leaders in the industry, allowing the students to gain experience and insight from those who have been successful. We also plan to extend our resources and help to various fundraising programs such as Canadian tire’s jumpstart. We hope to create a long-lasting tradition with the Society and provide a strong alumni network for like-minded people pursuing a career in the sports business industry.
